Dr. “K” was certainly more than I had hoped. Even though he was recommended highly to me by a professional golf caddie who had recently been successfully treated for a serious painful shoulder injury; I was still
somewhat cautiously optimistic.
My concerns were quickly dismissed after my visit today. My pain from long term wear/tear and abuse resulting from years of abuse in competitive sports (basketball)! Junior High/High School/SEC Basketball and various Amateur League Competitions. Once all this was reduced by aging and common sense; I continued to remain in the gyms and weight rooms for many years only because of my love for the game. This covered YMCA BALL, neighborhood leagues, and yes the WORST & MOST DANGEROUS of ALL (CHURCH LEAGUE BASKETBALL). I’ll be 81 in a few months.
I still go shoot free-throws (mostly 100/day sometimes 200. I do not play in games. It’ too fast and too rough for me.
Free throws are my past time. Light weights, stretching, power walks of 1 or 2 miles/day keep me fit. Also I play golf 2 times a week and practice chipping, putting, and pitch shots very often.
These are my physical & mental reasons for wanting the BEST DOCTOR EVER TO TREAT MY AGING BODY.
MY first day at the doctor’s was super. He gets it. He has a plan. I believe he is the best!

Taylor was very professional, knowledgeable and explained everything really well. I felt she completed understood my issues and gave me options for treating them that made good sense and worked for me. She is most personable and easy to relate to. I feel comforted that I can rely on her now and in the future. Everyone in the office was very professional and engaged in helping me with my issue. I feel that integrity is core in their practice. I highly recommend this team.

Dr. Smith listened to me & reviewed what we could do. And even before that he sent me to get xrays so he could see the area I was having a problem with. I felt cared for, talked to as a adult, not a child & I left the office feeling better because all matters were addressed before I left.

Working with Dr Joyce Kim over the last two years has been a solid experience. Her team, from medical to accounting have been on time and patient oriented from the start. She knows her business and is easy to work with. Good people. I recommend her and her team for pain management.

Dr. Pfeifer is a wonderful doctor. He’s very caring and thorough in everything. No problem is too small for him to see you and explain things. The entire staff is very pleasant and friendly also.

Dr. Kevin Smith is an excellent surgeon. The Woodlands Sports Physical Therapy Center (therapist) and staff are absolutely amazing! My shoulder and wrist injury have improved significantly, I know the process is slow to a complete healing but considering the progress I am receiving I’m well pleased with the results.

The best surgery possible!
I had carpal and cubital tunnel procedures together, and never felt pain or limitations afterwards.
Moreover the attention is outstanding, polite, respectful and considerate.
Dr Smith goes always the extra mile for his patients!

Not a complaint about the doctor himself. But I've been to their office three times all three times. You are there more than an hour and a half to 2 hours before being called back. Speaking with other patients in the waiting room, not one of them has said they've been seen in less than an hour's time.
Don't know if it is due to overbooking or what but they definitely need to shorten the wait time. I know for future injuries I will not come back here due to the wait time
