Eugene L. Heiman, M.D. is a Board Certified Orthopedic Surgeon and Sports Medicine Specialist.

Dr, Heiman received his undergraduate degree at the University of Vermont in 1971, graduating MAGNA CUM LAUDE. He received his medical degree from Boston University School of Medicine in 1975 and completed his one-year internship at the University of Oregon Health Science Center and one-year residency in general surgery at Boston University Medical Center. His orthopedic residency was completed at George Washington University Medical Center in Washington, D.C.

Dr. Heiman practiced orthopedic surgery in Houston, Texas from 1980-1991, when he moved his practice to The Woodlands, Texas. Dr. Heiman has served as served as Chief of Surgery at Fort Bend Hospital in Missouri City and Memorial Hospital The Woodlands. He has also served as Vice Chief of Surgery, West Houston Medical Center. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons and a Fellow of the American Academy of Disability Evaluating Physicians. He is also a member of the Texas Society for Sports Medicine. Dr. Heiman has privileges at Memorial Hermann Surgery Center Woodlands Parkway, St. Luke’s Community Medical Center of The Woodlands, and Memorial Hermann Hospital of The Woodlands.
